The fastest growing segment of the North Carolina population is people age 60 and older. Communities across North Carolina are trying to determine how to best meet the needs of this aging population. Healthcare and Healthy Living, Transportation, Housing, Financial Security, Maintaining Independence, Social Interaction are important issues on the minds of people in our community. The Guilford County Commission on Aging is in the process of developing a Guilford County Aging Plan to address these issues and others.
In order to construct the Aging Plan, the Guilford County Commission on Aging is asking county residents to complete a survey to better identify the needs of people 60 years of age and older in Guilford County. People younger than 60 are encouraged to complete the survey, especially if they are a caregiver for someone over 60 years of age.
Your input, combined with responses from other Guilford County residents, will guide the work of the committee and community partners. Your responses to this survey are anonymous and cannot identify you in any way.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Your input is valued!
