On June 19th, the Guilford County Board of Commissioners approved the Fiscal Year 2015 budget which includes a chemical facility planning fee. This fee schedule is applicable to any entity that is legally required to file a Tier II chemical report form as part of Title III of the Federal Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 as amended.  The fee assessed is based on the amount of chemicals reported at regulated facilities in Guilford County for the prior calendar year.  This fee will assist in ensuring Guilford County is prepared to assist your company in preparing for and responding to chemical emergencies.

The detailed fee description and process can be found here.
