Guilford County Animal Services will be holding its final low cost rabies vaccination clinic of 2016 on Saturday, September 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The clinic will be held at the Pleasant Garden Town Hall located at 4920 Alliance Church Road in Pleasant Garden.  Click here for a link to a map of this location.  Animal Services staff will be providing 1-year rabies vaccinations for a cost of $5.00 each, and a veterinarian will be available to provide a 3-year vaccine for $10.00 to pets whose owners bring proof of a prior vaccination.

North Carolina’s rabies law requires that all owned dogs, cats, and ferrets must be vaccinated against rabies by four months of age.  Our clinics are a great way to ensure your pets are in compliance with this requirement.  We also offer other options in case you cannot make it to the clinic.  Rabies vaccinations are provided at the animal shelter from 2:00 to 4:00 every afternoon except for Tuesdays.  Animal Control also provides the service of at home rabies vaccinations.  Please give us a call at (336) 641-5990 if you would like more information on this option.  All of the vaccinations provided through these means cost $5.00 each and are recognized as a 1-year vaccine only.

We hope to see you and your pet(s) at the clinic!
