Guilford County Soil and Water Conservation District presents contests for students centered around this year’s theme “Water…the Cycle of Life”. Please see the individual contests listed below with links to the flyers with detailed information and registration forms.

2017-2018 Poster Contest: Grades 3-6
Presented by the Guilford County Soil and Water Conservation District. Individual students should create a poster that conveys the theme of “Water…the Cycle of Life”. District will provide the poster board to classes registered for free lessons. Deadline for turning in poster to district office is February 2, 2018.

Presented by the Guilford County Soil and Water Conservation District. Individual students should create a digital poster that conveys the theme of “Water…the Cycle of Life” and addresses the importance of water quality, availability and conservation. 2017-2018 Speech Contest: Grades 7 & 8
Presented by the Guilford County Soil and Water Conservation District. Individual students should create and practice a speech that conveys the theme of “Water…the Cycle of Life” and addresses the importance of water quality, availability and conservation. The contest will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Agriculture Center at 3:00 p.m. – Burlington Road (Auditorium). The due date for speech competition registration is January 25, 2018.
