The Guilford County Register of Deeds begins accepting “Walk-In” passport applications on Tuesday, September 5th from 8:30 am- 3:00 pm Monday through Friday in the BB and T building at 201 West Market street in Downtown Greensboro.

Guilford County Passport Services will be the only “Walk In” facility in Guilford County to process passport applications for the U.S. Department of State.

Register of Deeds Jeff Thigpen is excited to offer this new service for those planning to travel or live abroad.  “No more time consuming phone calls to set up appointments or going to other counties to apply for a passport.  We’ll take care of applications on the spot with customer friendly service”, Registrar Thigpen emphasizes.

Come to the Guilford County Register of Deeds office on Saturday, September 23rd at 201 West Market Street in Downtown Greensboro from 8:30 am to 2 pm for our Passport Fair!

Our staff will be available to receive passport applications and answer any questions!

**Limited parking is available in the immediate area around the BB and T building.  Public Parking is also available just across the street in the Greene Street Parking Deck at 211 S. Greene Street in Greensboro.
